About Us

The Alliance of Guyanese Canadian Organizations (AGCO) is a diaspora umbrella organization committed to providing leadership and action on issues of common interest to the Guyanese; most especially around cultural integration, employment, migration, environmental, socio-political and economic issues affecting Guyanese in the Canadian diaspora.

The AGCO strives to provide a platform for constructive dialogue on capacity building and knowledge sharing to empower and facilitate endeavors for the inclusive and sustainable development of Guyana.

We are committed to assisting our member organizations in achieving their objectives, and in their engagement with policy makers in government and civil society on issues that concern the Guyanese Canadian community.
